Start a Club

1. First and foremost, we need a Lawyer (or a few of them to form a team). If you know a Lawyer in your community who would like us to send him/her an information packet, please let us know.
2. Next, we need a Facility (a church, library, city hall, etc., are good possibilities) that:
   1. Is free of charge.
   2. Is available from about 6:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. on the same day of the month for a year (for starters). (i.e., First Tuesday or Third Wednesday, etc.).
   3. Has a VCR/TV we can use to show VHS film.
   4. Has a way to make coffee. (We supply the coffee and other necessities. We just need the coffee maker and water.)
   5. Is in a safe and reasonable location.
3. Next, we need to find the Benefactors of Freedom. Please contact us for forms and tips.
4. Once all of this is in place, ELL provides flyers to distribute, places advertising in local newspapers and writes local elected officials and others to invite them to attend. The publicity starts about one month before the First ELL Session.
